Spring break is over

Amazingly, I had an eventful spring break. I was really skeptical how my spring break would turn out, probably was going to be boring and all, but it wasn't! WHEE.

Totally wish my spring break was a bit longer. :( School sucks!

On Monday, I originally planned on going shopping with Amylatte, but Joseph picked us up, so we went to go change his tires and ate ramen for lunch. After eating ramen, we dropped Amylatte off at work and headed to change the tires. A billiard hall was near by so we dropped off his car and walked to the pool hall. I won the first game by default. Cannot beat Joseph at pool lah~! So he kept making me re-rack to break because I kept losing. After pool we went to pick up the car and I drove to the mall. I bought a new necklace and Joseph being the spontaneous person he is said he wanted to buy a coffee machine. So we headed down to Macy's housewares and bought a little coffee machine. After purchasing the coffee machine, I drove to Safeway so Joseph could buy his coffee filters and ground coffee. He found a pack of Godiva ground coffee and went with that. OMG $10!!! for a pack of Godiva coffee. So expensive man... I guess more worth it anyways. Starbucks charges (let's round up) $5 a cup, $5 a day, in 2 days you already spend $10. The $10 can be used to buy a pack of ground coffee, then can make you many cups. Okay lah...

I didn't do anything on Tuesday but work. BLEH

On Wednesday, I went to work and Amylatte and Joseph surprised me at work. They waited until after I got off, so we went to a dessert shop. I hadn't had an dinner yet so Joseph told me to order some soy sauce noodles, that I really don't have a liking for. Also saw my old high school friends. And my friend from way back in elementary school. Ama, maybe you guys know her from youtube. :) UGH, the noodles again. I totally remember eating these every weekend. It's okay, I hadn't had them in a while so I ate them like they tasted super good. Justin met us up after and Joseph walked the wrong way to his car so we drove him a block away to his car.

On Thursday, I hung out with Lawrence just to talk. We ate at an authentic/genuine Japanese restaurant like old times. We talked a lot that day since we hadn't had time to catch up lately. We went to a chill place, and it was a nice day to just sit and talk. After we talked, we went to the mall and I was looking for a present for Regina since it was her birthday. I didn't find anything, but you'll get your present soon Regina!!! We met up Regina at a Mediterranean restaurant for dinner. Regina, Jenny, Jonathan, Lawrence and I. I thought the food was really good. The appetizer shrimp was good, although I'm not a fan of shrimp. I got a stuffed eggplant entree with feta cheese, yummy.

On Friday, I had suggested about a week prior that we should go to Boiling Crab. This place is extremely hyped up, I have no idea why. I finally went to Boiling Crab with Amylatte, Justin and Joseph. Beautiful weather for Boiling Crab as well. In the car ride, Justin kept tailgating us so Joseph told me to write a sign and let them see it. HAHAHA. Amylatte told me that about 15 minutes away from getting to Boiling Crab, Jonathan called and asked us to turn around and pick him up. We originally invited him with us but he had work. :( We finally arrived at Boiling Crab and it wasn't packed like I thought it would be. The restaurant was pretty small as well. The host told us it'd be about 15-20 minutes so we went to Target to look at stuff before it was time to go. We got back to Boiling Crab at about 5pm and then we were seated. I ordered a Dungeoness crab with garlic butter in mild, Amylatte had a Dungeoness crab with rajun cajun in mild, Justin got the lobster with the whole shabang in medium, and Joseph got raw oysters. We all got the chicken wing appetizer and the calamari. Calamari was good, but I really liked the chicken wings. SO YUMMY. But probably only because I LOVE chicken wings. I was reluctant to try Joseph's raw oysters because I read the disclaimer about how it may cause severe illness (OH NOES), but I went ahead and tried it anyways. Squeezed some lemon and that sauce that came with it on my raw oyster and ate it. It was good to be honest (hoping I don't die soon). After eating our appetizers, our real food came out. We got 3 big bags of food. 2 crabs and 1 lobster. My bag was dripping with hot garlic butter and it smelled so good. I dove in quickly ripping off some legs for Joseph to try. Justin didn't know how to eat his lobster so he went beast and started nomming straight off the lobster. Justin gave me some of his lobster to try and I started coughing from it because it was so spicy. Pretty good but I felt like my big just grew 10 inches from the spiciness. Needless to say it was one big mess for us. The guys in the booth next to us were really classy with it, no big mess like we had, all clean. But what's the fun without the mess?! I finally finished all the legs and I ripped open the hull of the crab... I think I touched its brains and it felt... WEIRD. Justin helped me clean off the brain juice that tainted the rest of the good crab meat. Honestly, I like Joe'se Crab Shack better because I feel like they give you more stuff and it's more worth it. But I'd definitely come back to Boiling Crab just for the drive and etc. After we ate we wanted to find something else to do in the city. Karaoke please! So we found a karaoke place to sing at but the place was so damn expensive! URGH. So we headed back home and went to karaoke there instead. Joseph's friend also joined us for karaoke. We got back home and went into sing, the machine kept freaking breaking on us like a billion times and we had to keep asking the woman to come help us fix it. Never getting that room again to sing. I sang my Whitney Houston "I Will Always Love You" song and Joseph kept wanting me to sing louder, so when it hit the super long "And I........................................................................................................................................................." I sang it and everyone applauded me, KAKAKAKAKA, man it was too funny. Justin asked me for my autograph. *__* so special. LOLOLOLOLOL. Got home around like 2am and knocked out.

On Saturday, my mom woke me up and asked me if I wanted to go yum cha because my sister was treating out Godmother out to lunch. Basically it was the whole family. Godmother came really late so they didn't even get to eat any of it. My sister asked if I wanted to go outlet shopping, obviously I said yes! So after yum cha, we left for outlet shopping and out Godmother came with. Sister, Mom, Godmother and I. TEEHEE. Hit up Gucci store first. SUCKED, why? cus the styles were ugly. :( and only had a couple of cute decent Gucci styles. I should have bought the scarf, UGH. The stores there were okay but the prices didn't seem that much different for ugly styles. I got a pair of sandals from Charlotte Russe and a jacket from Levi's. Not much customer service at these outlet shops either. BOOO. On my way to the outlets, Amylatte called me and asked me if I wanted to hang out. I said okay, but when I get back home from outlet shopping. I only bought two things that day, so it was kept short. Sister dropped off our Godmother at home and we went back home. I met up Amylatte around 10pm and we went to eat crepes, after eating crepes we walked to the billiards hall to shoot some pool. We changed our minds quickly after using their bathroom and then we just went to eat dessert. We chatted like always and ate our fried chicken wings and waffle fries, teehee. Justin picked us up after and I went home.

So, my spring break was pretty eventful. I was trying my best to surround myself with my friends and it worked out pretty well. Can't wait for summer! But I swear I gotta lay off the late night snacks, I probably gained like 10 lbs this week. :(

Road Trip: Los Angeles part 2

ZzZzZzZzZzZzZz... So tired and I was surprised at how well I slept that night. I was really afraid that I'd be annoyed with so many guys around that will probably snore and keep me up all night. BUT THEY DIDN'T THANK YOU GAIZZZZZ. I only heard Jonathan snore, but it was really brief like two snores and he shut up. And then I heard Jenny at around 6am whispering and a bunch of bags shuffling around. I sat up on the bed and contemplated whether I should tell her to shut up or not, haha.

We all finally woke up around 8am and we had to check out in about an hour or two. All of our stuff was packed and ready to go, but not without a little lagging. We left our home for all of one night and we went to go get breakfast at Denny's. Our waitress looked annoyed and probably cus I kept asking her questions about the french toast shit. For the record, when I went to Denny's in San Diego, they were much more accommodating in what I had asked for. Everyone just knows how to say NO this and NO that now. FFUU. Anyways, got me two slices of french toast and my hash browns, you know what it isss.

We ate then we left. We parked the car back at the hotel and walked a long ass way to Magic Mountain. Security protocol and then off to the fun! First stop was X2. We waited in line for at least 2 and 1/2 to 3 and 1/2 hours for X2. There was some kind of delay so shrug. We finally inched closer and closer to the lane and bam! we're there. X2 is the one where you got like 360 degrees and backwards and all that shit. This shit was the scariest roller coaster I've ever been on, no joke. Yeah, it was pretty insane.

After X2, I think we went on Viper, which wasn't as bad. I was getting hungry from the excitement so I told the guys that I was hungry and we should eat, so we ate at Katy's Kettle. I got the chicken strips basket and all the other guys got turkey legs. Man those turkey legs were huge.

After eating we tried to go on Tatsu but they needed tickets to get in (???) After being denied entry to Tatsu we walked over to Apocalypse which took a long time to get in and by the time we got to the line, our food had already been digested.

Apocalypse tried to engage the audience with the room full of tvs and lights and etc. Pretty lame, I just wanted to go on the ride. We got to the front of the line and the stupid kids with flashback wristbands got to ride them twice. SOOO LAME, why do they even sell those things? CHEATERS!!!

After the cheaters went, we finally got on and it wasn't that bad either. I think X2 knocked everything else out of the ball park. After Apocalypse I think we went on Ninja. Ninja was pretty fun. After Ninja, Jonathan wanted to ride on Goliath, so we stood in line for about 2 hours, but the line moved quickly. Exhausted at this point and it was getting cold. We finally got on the ride and Goliath is pretty insane too. There's a 200+ foot drop then another 190 foot drop. I seriously felt like I was going to fall out of the seat. Some guy behind us grabbed onto Jonathan's shoulder, HAHAHAHAHA. Shit was crazy, yo.

So exhausted so we walked back down and went to Red Lobster for a really late dinner. Jonathan got the most expensive dinner - the Lobster Lover's Dream or something. I got a simple half portion of the crab linguini with marinara instead of the alfredo sauce. Errr, they could have made it hotter? The server said that the plate was hot but my marinara was like luke warm, ew?

My life battery for that night dropped to like 10%, don't know how I'll keep awake in the car in case Jonathan falls asleep. We hit the road after we got some gas and left. Goodbye LA, I'll see you soon. A long road ahead of us. But we kept going. The second car wasn't following us back home so we all went at our own pace. I dozed off like a billion times and I tried so hard to stay awake in the car, but it didn't work. Jonathan swerved once before we exited to make a pit stop. I was finally awake. Linda drove a little while I dozed off into a nap. I think we got lost at one point, but it wasn't like I was awake, lol. Linda gave up the wheel and Jonathan was back at it again, poor Jonathan. After a couple more hours, we made it back into the city, safe. First stop was Arthur's then Jenny, then Linda and then me. I should have treated Jon to a nice breakfast before we went home, but we were both dead tired.

I got to my house about 6am and plopped onto my bed and slept. I slept past our family's weekly lunch together but it was fine. I finally woke up around 4pm and took a shower. Glad to be back home. :)

Not many pictures since we spent the whole day at Magic Mountain and I didn't bring anything, but I have other pics. TEEHEE.

Road Trip: Los Angeles part 1

A road trip. Nine friends. Two cars. Two days. One night. One hotel.
WE GOT OURSELVES, A SITUATION.

It was a long Thursday for me. I had school, it was a full on rainstorm and I had yet to pack ANYTHING for LA. Finally got out of school and I went home to get some stuff ready to pack then I headed over to Jonathan's house to order my Magic Mountain ticket. After I ordered the ticket, I went to meet up my Amylatte.

Amylatte sweetly greeted me with a pink daisy. My favorite color... and her favorite flower. She knows just how to cheer me up. The weather was shit and so was my mood. We went over to get some tapioca drinks, yummeh. And we sat there to talk. Talk talk talk. She always lifts my spirits when needed. I'm always glad to have her around.

We went to work and I had a long night. A long and sleepless night. I got home around 11:30pm. I took a shower, I packed some stuff and I tried to sleep. I finally fell asleep around 1am or so and Jonathan finally called me around 2:30am. I got up at 3am and started getting ready. It was time. TIME FOR LA! I packed up my laptop then Jonathan finally arrived and we were on our way. We went to go pick up Linda and Jenny as well. It hit 4am, made a pit stop at Arthur's house (where Linda and Jenny were) and we were off. OFF TO LA!!! I barely slept the whole way to LA, it was pretty crazy. We made one pit stop only and kept going. Linda is a damn crazy driver for hitting triple digits on the speedometer. Jonathan finally got some shut eye in the car when he passed the car to Linda. Poor Jonathan. :(

We finally arrived at the hotel RIGHT NEXT TO Magic Mountain. We checked in and everyone piled up into the room. We all put our stuff down and some people took a shower. We got there around 10am, so we went to Ihop to eat breakfast. After breakfast we went to Walmart to get some stuff. I bought a bikini for the jacuzzi at the hotel, some graph paper, cus I need it for homework back home and some makeup. The stuff is so cheap! Before we went sightseeting, Linda took a shower, and I have concluded that Linda holds world record for taking the longest shower with no remorse. The guys took off on their own and went sightseeing. After we all took a shower, we all went sightseeing as well. I drove us to Little Tokyo and Jenny was directing me with her GPS. Missed my exits like 100 times... annoying... Finally ended up in Little Tokyo. We looked around the shops and went into Yogurtland. Why Yogurtland? Idk, I should have went into Pinkberry that was about a block away!

I looked at some of the clothes to buy. Nothing... I'm picky. Finally we ended up at Fashion district and shopped around. Most of the stores were wholesale so we kept on walking until we hit Santee Alley?, I found a pretty dress from "Kiss Fashion" and a pair of gladiator heels from some shoe store. Yay! Ready to go out tonight! The sales associate at Kiss Fashion was REALLY sweet. I saw the pretty floral print dress on the mannequin and I knew I wanted to buy it. I looked for a small but they didn't have a small on the racks, so I tried on a medium. I asked her if there was a small, she said no the only small is on the mannequin but she'll take it off the mannequin if I'm going to buy it. I said YES. She's so sweet, wish I asked for her name. Sweetest sales associate compared to what I experienced elsewhere in LA.

Everything in Santee Alley closes at around 5pm or 6pm so... I couldn't look at anything before they chased me out and said they're closing. We left Fashion District about 7pm and went to Roscoe's for dinner. Chicken and waffles, yummeh! I got a plate of rice and a leg and a thigh, yummy! Definitely coming back next time I'm in LA. After Roscoe's we walked to Walgreens, and holy shit are the blocks of LA LONGGG. We walked like probably 20 blocks total to and fro Walgreens, that's alright cus we needed the exercise from all that fried chicken. I fell asleep in the car and Jonathan kind of swerved because he was getting sleepy too. Everyone was exhausted.

Finally got back to the hotel, groggily that is. I really wanted to sleep and stay in instead of going out with Linda, Jenny and Arthur. So I stayed inside instead. I felt so out of it. I need someone to talk to. ........................... AMY! I grabbed my laptop and I got online to talk to her. I got on Skype and skyped with her so I wouldn't feel so lonely. TOK TOK TOK. Amylatte went to go shower and it was getting late. I drank a lemon tea juice box, lol and talked to Jonathan and brushed my teeth then went to bed. ZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZz

Watching the sunrise.

Still so long to go.

Crazy Linda.

It was slightly snowing on the way.

Thanks Diana!

My friend Diana wanted to take me out to lunch for my birthday for a while and so we agreed on going on Saturday. Instead her sneaky ass took me to get my hair done and take me to lunch! I'm such a spoiled brat aren't I?

I met up with Diana at 10:30am and went to what was supposedly HER hair appointment with her friend Jenny. We got to the salon and Diana told me that I was first. WHAT????????? I knew she was going to do this and I prepared myself at home to see what kind of cut I would like. I went first, put down my stuff and they gave me a thin robe to wear. Jenny helped me wash my hair then took a look at it and asked what I wanted to do with my hair. I honestly told her that I hadn't cut my hair in like 2 years. (Didn't cut because I wanted it to be SUPER LONG and when I started growing out my hair it was at shoulder length.) But I told her I got a trim about last summer.

She started cutting away at the thinning ends but she also told me that I had a lot of hair dying damage and my nasty split ends started from around shoulder length. *CUT CUT CUT. It still hadn't hit me that I was getting my hair cut. *CUT CUT CUT Done with cutting, and she blew dried my hair and started styling. Needless to say my hair felt softer and was looking FABULOUS. I just wish my hair turned out that way every time I came out of the shower. Diana went to go get some pho that we could share, and I really liked the beef slices in the pho. And I'm not really a big fan of Pho. Time for Diana! Diana fixed up her bangs and trimmed about 2 inches. Diana seemed to be unphazed by the hair trimming going on. But Jenny really does listen and listens to how you want your hair done.

As for the salon, they use all organic products by Aveda. Amazing! Though the products are really pricey, I really need to get some of that damage repair cream they have. And Jenny was helpful in answering my questions, I had more questions I just forgot to ask, haha. She told me I need a moisturizing shampoo rather than one with protein, so I really should go buy a new bottle of shampoo and conditioner. So much damage... /cries. Diana and I's hair turned out fabulous after the blow and I'm definitely coming back for a deep conditioning and maybe a trim in a couple of weeks for so.

After getting our hair done, Hugo picked us up and we went to eat at Outback Steakhouse (because we wanted to go to Target! lol) We were seated pretty quickly but now, I kind of feel like the service at Outback isn't that great. Diana got like a rack of ribs and a steak and I got a bacon cheeseburger as always. MY FRIES WERE SOGGY! WHY SOGGY DAMNIT! We all sat and talked for a while and ate our food. Oh funneh funneh. I was making fun of Diana at one point while she put a piece of steak in her mouth and she started coughing and said, "stop it *cough cough, I have a big ass chunk of meat stuck in my throat." ............................................ROFLMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. After Outback, we went to Target so Diana could buy her CHI straightener and I bought some eyeliner. ^___^V After a short stop to Target we went back to the city so Diana could meet her 4pm nail appointment and I had to go to work. :( I went home to get my work shirt and Hugo and got crepes since it wasn't time for me to leave yet, we finished our crepes and made it to work alright. I had a dilemma at work because I didn't want to tie my beautiful new hair up. LOL

Diana and I and our fab hair! Tried to take a pic with Jenny, but she wouldn't let me. LOL

"What?! I wasn't even ready!"
