Happy Halloween!

Hi everyone! Been a while since my last post so I am back! It's it officially October 31st, which means it is Halloween!

I hosted a pumpkin carving at my friend Jonathan's house last night. I was supposed to host dinner, but it wasn't as successful as the pumpkin carving. I want to thank all to those who came and I'm counting you guys in for next year. It will be more successful if not more successful!

So I had an idea for what to be for Halloween, and of course I had to drag my friend Amy into doing it with me too! You guys can guess what I am from the pictures later.

Well anyway, so my Saturday went something like this...

I had a meeting at work at about 8:30AM which meant I needed to wake up a bit early and go to work. I forgot to set my alarm so I planned on having my dad wake me up because he causes chaos and noise from walking into my room to get to the other side of the house. I planned on waking then, but I didn't. So when I finally woke up, I woke up at 8:17AM. CRAP! I need to get out of here. I quickly got dressed in a sweatshirt, jeans and rainboots. I brushed my teeth, gathered all my belongings and rushed for the door.

I got to work around 8:55AM or so, but we hadn't started the meeting. We waited a little bit for the rest of the colleagues to show up, however one didn't not show up and Mina showed up late.

Fast forward » About 2 hours later the meeting was over! I went over to Amy's house to fix us up a sandwich. We stayed at her house for a little bit and went on our way to buy pumpkins at Trader Joe's and Safeway. We got to Trader Joe's and saw little pumpkins for $1.99! So cheap so we got about 5 total. Jonathan met us up at Trader Joe's and he got a small one too. Then we went to Safeway for a medium sized one and all we saw was HUGE, ENORMOUS, COLOSSAL, GARGANTUAN, MASSIVE PUMPKINS!

I actually bought what was a medium sized pumpkin compared to the colossal ones. Then I bought some cookies and Jon found a pumpkin pie. The pumpkin was damn heavy but Jonathan was generous enough to help me carry it. Amy went back to her house to get her makeup and so I told her to meet me at Jonathan's house. We stayed at Jonathan's house for a little bit and then I met up Amy and we went back to my house. We took our time to put on our makeup and it took like 2 hours! Haha, we had fun or at least I did. Amy helped do my hair, it was sooo awesome! Hehe, she's bomb at doing hair.

We went to dinner shortly after and it was great. Yummy shabu! At dinner, I was constantly bothered by my stupid contact, so I kept taking it out, cleaning it, putting it back in, etc. So annoying, I finally found out that I had torn a hole in it, none of this was foreknown to me. So I went back home to put on another pair.

After going home, I went to Jonathan's house and we got to carving on our pumpkins! I was excited to do my transformer's logo again, but sadly it was a fail... AGAIN. Carving the pumpkins took a while, it takes a lot of time and energy and patience for the perfect design. I gave up the transformers logo and made a heart instead, yes, that was what I had to show for 3 hours of hard work. We waited for a while for everyone to finish up their last bit of pumpkin carving and I went to the kitchen to slice the pumpkin pie. Finally everyone was finished so we took them outside and lit them up and took pictures. It was hard to find someone to help us take a group picture but then a girl was nice enough to cross the street to help us take a picture. :)

Enjoy! (Pictures are in a special order, see if you can guess what I was for Halloween!)

Dinner time at G-Cube. I had a 10% off coupon that I forgot to give them, oh well. :(

Hot pot/Shabu/Da bean low

Veggies!

Everyone ditched me for dinner so it was Amy, honeybee and I. HEH

One scoop of ice cream! I got red bean.

Pumpkin carving commence!

Work it girl!

Amy's final product. HEHEHEHEHEHE

Get it boyzzz!

Go Mina!

I bought two boxes of cookies and a pumpkin pie. DELISH!

The mess we made at Jonathan's house.

Pumpkin innards scattered around.

Broken blade from the hard pumpkin!

So initially, I wanted to give the transformer's logo one more go from the fail from last year, but it was a no go again. So I decided to carve a heart and I was going to carve an eye and put them next to Amy's bow so it's like EYE ♥ BOW. HEHE, but someone stole my eye and carved with that one.

My leggings. :)

Goodie bags for everyone!

It took a while to go outside and light them up, but we finally did, and I'm totally happy with the turnout.

My "costume":

GYARU DUH!

Okay, for the record I was wearing shorts underneath that shirt and that shirt is massive for a size "s". In addition, I had like super teased hair but this picture doesn't do it much justice. :(

^____^V Sorry no blonde hair atm, so I had to make do and no time to buy a wig.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN GAIS! BE SAFE! :P

FUJIFILM

Hello all! I just know you all have been anticipating my return and here I am! I understand I have been MIA for the last... 3 weeks. I've been up to things like a certain trip if you recall from my Facebook or tweets. After the trip I felt like I came back a different person, but that's a blog for another day.

I'll post my pictures of the trip as well as the things I encountered in between as soon as school is over. But for now I'll just show you some of my latest buys(not from the trip).

My uncle was nice enough to buy this camera for me! Haha, I keep thinking he's trying to hone my photography skills. He keeps insisting on buying photography books at Costco when I even glance at it. I remember when I was a kid and went to Costco and I wanted a book and he wasn't even willing to buy it for me. -_- I remember he even told me if I wanted to buy a dSLR he'd willingly pay for half. Anyway, so he purchased the FUJIFULM instax. Cute! Too bad the film is a little pricey. 1 cartridge has 10 films and they sell it in a box of 2.

CAMERA AND FILM!

FILM!

CAMERA!

Opening the box!

Camera, film, batteries, instruction manual, and a wrist strap.

LOL, sister said it looks like a ransom photo. HAHA

:) This is my son. :P

The thing that sucks is that they don't give you like a sample film or something. At least give some kind of customer loyalty coupon from the manufacturer to get a discount on the film or something. Nonetheless, I like my camera. It's a new age-y, Polaroid. Too bad the Polaroid is out of production, or I would've purchased one.

I recently went to Daiso too! Have I told you how much I love Daiso? So many cheap trinkets to purchase here! That actually work, but don't expect it to be very high quality, remember you are paying about $1.50 for it.

My latest buys from Daiso:

Yippee! Food container, fruit container, chopsticks, mini tripod, containers, and a finger pump bottle.

So glad this works alright for $1.50. It's cute and works like a real tripod.

Containers. I needed a new container for the crazy chameleon soap that Amy gave me.

Food containers and a pair of chopsticks.

Finger pump bottle. These are just easier to use than grabbing the whole bottle and turning it upside down for some fluid.

Cute little bag.

Also got a cute container for Goldfishes!!! GAH, I love this snack.

Nom nom in the trunk. :P

EDIT:
Also got my new TOO FACED CANDLELIGHT POWDER from Sephora. :) It's so shimmery!

I'm totally serious when I say this is really sparkly!
