I am living the Teenage Dream and 火锅!

I am totally living the Teenage Dream as sung by the beautiful Katy Perry! The lyrics of the song describe what my s.o. and I do and go through. Another song could not have described it as perfectly. Honey has a song that he likes too I believe it's Bruno Mars - The Way You Are. Fabulous voice and the lyrics are beautiful as well. He even tried to sing it to me a couple of times. But enough about that.

Yesterday was Friday and of course gotta do something fun!!!

I got all dressed up (kind of)... I did my hair and everything and brought my skirt along (not about to wear a skirt to school plus it was cold).

I was supposed to eat dinner with Amy but she flaked on me >.> I even permanently marked on my calendar we were going to eat dinner.

I had dinner with my honey instead. He said that he was in the mood for hot pot so we were going to go out to eat hot pot.

Then he tells me we're going to go hot pot shopping and buy all the stuff instead.

We came home to an empty house so what do we do? Light up some candles, put on some sultry music and..... set the table to eat hot pot!!! YUMMMS. (For the perverts, haha you lose!)

We went to the local Korean market in hopes to purchase all our goodies and needs there. No luck, all we bought was the sliced beef. Honey texted some of his friends to see where they got the fish balls with the fillings inside. So we had to head out to 99 Ranch. I swear we went around the whole market 10+ times and no luck at all.

We ended up at 99 Ranch supermarket and everything was there! It was like.. the Chinese Costco! We bought the fish balls, vermicelli, fried tofu, garlic, etc. We looked everywhere for the soup base, which wasn't very delicious either. -_-

I think we paid about $35+ for all the food we bought and of course the leftovers. We bought 3 trays of sliced beef from the Korean supermarket and could barely finish the first tray.

We went home and boiled some water and minced the garlic. Took a nap and then started our dinner for the night.

The soup base tasted disgusting, it was in a package so what can we expect? Bleh, I had a fun time regardless, we ate a hefty amount of food and watched Bruce Almighty while we were at it. Fun and delicious time! Honey even sang me a Teresa Tang song. :P The night was totally fabulous. No parents or grandparents or siblings around to disrupt us. I went home shortly after I had my camera whore moments.

Random stuff that has been accumulating in my mind:
I need to go shopping!!! I haven't shopped in sooo long! I have decided to give my Rainbow sandals to my sister because they are mad small for me. I got size S when I should have purchased size M.
I need to buy lots of stuff. Planning to do so when I go to China.

The weather has been awfully beautiful and hot, just the way I like it! Too bad that it's gone. I hate unpredictable weather...

Okay! Time to enjoy pictures! ♥

Yummehs

Feast!

Does I lookz gyaru yet? lol

Someone remind me to put a watermark on my pics for copyright purposes.... lol

点心, 饮茶, Presents, Updates and more!

If you guys have been reading my tweets, I only have one more week left of summer vacation. And that one week has been depleted to a couple more days.

I also mentioned that I wanted to go out with a BANG. *pow pow. I think needless to say, I didn't go out with a bang.

I had a bunch of things I wanted to do this summer, but I never got to it. This summer has been the most boring summer to be completely honest with each and every one of you.

My summer vacation days went by quickly as did the weeks and as did the months. Now I'm stuck here and I don't want to go back to school.

Nevertheless, the show must go on. This week has been filled with itty bitty things to do.

I got my tragus pierced on Monday with Amy. She got her rook pierced. Her rook looks mad cute! We went to Downtown after ward and I bought a leather bracelet for my girlfriend Jennifer! Mad cute also!

Babe picked me up and we went to eat dinner at Olive Garden! Hadn't had Olive Garden in so longgg! I picked the Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara... but without the shrimp. So good! Too bad I ate too much salad before the entree and couldn't finish it. I hate having a big tummy after I eat, lol. Also got my shoes in the mail when I came home that night, so cute! ^___^v

I figured Jennifer would like it and there was a specific nail polish color that she wanted too, so I bought it for her too. Her birthday is almost coming up as well.

Tuesday nights are reserved for Pretty Little Liars! ZOMGBBQWTF, have you guys watched the summer finale?!?!?! So intense and I cannot wait for the next season. Odd because I remember Wikipedia saying they were going to have 12 episodes not 10, but whatever launches their rocket.

Had a shopping date with Jennifer on Wednesday and I had to give her her gift! She came over and was totally happy with her gift (or so I would hope).

We went to Yum cha instead of eating Subway. HAHA, I think we ordered like 7 dishes. But they were good and fabulous!!!

Watching the waiters trying to talk English to us was bad. :[ It made me feel like my Chinese was worse than a foreigners... Do I seriously look that ABC?!?!?!

Pet Peeve #56

Ugly Eyebrows...

I'll tell you straight up. I don't like ugly eyebrows.

Over plucked, too close together, too dark, too arched, too curvy, etc. « these are all subject to my criticism.

Okay, realistically, if they don't look like this... it is subject to my criticism.

If you don't know how to pluck eyebrows, don't do it. There are professionals. You pay them like $8 and they'll wax you the most beautiful eyebrows ever.

The thing I don't understand is... why women like to pluck them so thin (almost non-existent) and then! they fill them in mad dark.... What is up with that?

Examples of over plucked/non-existent eyebrows:

Notice where the eyebrow starts... almost inside her tear duct.

No arch.

Looks too close together.

Didn't know they wanted to be in the Chinese opera...

Even then, they look better than the ones above.

All of this can be avoided if you know where to pluck. Follow this example.

Your eyebrow should start where your eye starts. Use a straight edge to see where it should start.
The arch should be a little bit after the middle of your eyebrow.
And the eyebrow should end a little farther than where your eye ends.

Please women, you have the knowledge and the resources to make your eyebrows look the best! Utilize the resources!

Happy Birthday Mina and Jasmine

Happy birthday Mina and Jasmine!

So last night was our first get together since... Jon's BBQ. We went to watch Despicable Me and ZOMGBBQWTF, it was mad cute!

Agnes ftw bitches!!! Oh my she was so cute. The whole movie was so cute, I wanted to cry. Damn you Disney Pixar always know how to make tear jerking movies and such.

If you guys haven't watched I suggest you go watch it. :) They only had it in 3D, which was odd, because I thought there was one in regular. Yet another pair of 3D glasses to add to my large collection of 3D glasses already, lol.

We ended the movie and sat outside for a bit. We left shortly thereafter and I had to stop by Walgreens to get some eyelash glue, lol. Next we went into the restaurant so we could have dinner and catch up with everyone.

Everyone ordered within 15-20 minutes, and I was the first to order (you'll see why this piece of information will be useful to continue my story). All of us sat for more than 20 minutes and our food was yet to come... tick tock tick tock, the waiter continues to refill our water glasses but there is no food to seen. He must have refilled our glasses at least... 5 times that night before our food came out. We had a party of 10 and the people that were last to order got their food first... Uhm, okay? Fuck logic... I asked the waiter if our food was coming out anytime soon. When I checked the clock, it was already 9:30PM, I remember we ordered around.. 7:40PM ish? Dish after dish came out of the kitchen that was not ours. Tables that came in later than us got their food and appetizers first. Can you say ridiculous?... I felt like our table was invisible to the servers there.

Humorously, my food came last. Lillian, Amy and I waited 2 damn hours for our food that we finished in less than 5-10 minutes. (1) your food was not even "DA BOMB" (2) we waited for 2 effing hours (3) I'm never going back there again (4) when does it take 2 hours to cook my little rolls of steak MEDIUM. Fuck logic again, who needs that shit?! I have no idea how you guys run businesses...

He gave us the check and had the audacity to tell us that he didn't add a cake fee..... Srsly? (1) we did not buy a cake from you (2) you didn't help us cut it (3) we didn't use any room in YOUR fridge to store it.

Damn straight you shouldn't put a cake fee on us! Look at the aforementioned list.. PLUS! WTF, our food came 2 hours late. Go play in traffic!

Other than not getting my food for 2 hours, I had a fabulous time with my ladies and gents. I got to catch up and talk. Which is always fun. :)

Jenny, Linda, and Jonathan baked Jasmine and Mina a cake as well, super delicious. What do you think of the name "Cake Tree" as a cake shop for them? Hah, just kidding.

Cool lights, no?

Our miso soup. Too spicy.

Still no food, why?!

All three looking at their phones.

Still waiting...

Tick tock..

The appetizers start rolling in...

Raw oysters. Drool

The meal I waited 2 hours for...

Happy birthday!

This is what we nommed on for so long. Whole bag empty. :[

Group pic!

Funny pic! B)

Birthday girl.
