Mental Breakdown, retail therapy and other things

Two days ago, I had a mental breakdown... I don't think I'll reveal the details of what happened (nothing serious anyway). I think I must just make my Xanga a private space (because I barely use it) for me and my friends (like Regina has) that really want to know about my soft side.

After this "mental breakdown" I went to retail therapy to relieve myself. Mind you I didn't spend any money like I said I wasn't.

Went to Hollister Co. to check out some stuff. Their clothes are pricey when they come out but that dies down after the seasonal changes. I got a bottle of body spray and it smells like the lipgloss that I got. Smells good, btw. Also got a cute little camisole shirt.

Went to Aerie too, to pick up my free gift for being on A-List. :) The nice associate told me this was the last month that they were doing free gifts on A-List. :[ Sucks for the people that didn't get it, lol.

Just in time for Valentine's Day!

Finally got my shoes in the mail. So excited for my Forever 21 ones! :P Have too many shoes already, lah. Why buy so much?! GRR.

Stocked up on the boots and got a pair of wedges. :P

Too many shoes! Not including the ones I have in my downstairs. :[

Also, baby got me the cardigan I wanted from Forever21, turns out its not really a cardigan... more like lingerie, bleh.

And I finally got my shot glass from Lawrence like... 2 weeks ago, haha!

Fun fun fun!

Amidst all the excitement and fun I was having making a new header and such, I almost forgot to mention that my new header was all made possible by my one and only Jennifer Lee. A great photographer with the limited supplies - natural light and a Canon point and shoot camera, nothing like a dSLR or some nice big lights but she made do. I think they turned out wonderfully.

THANK YOU LOVE!!!

Currently...

Listening to: Mariah Carey - Touch My Body

And working on a new header! I even took many vanity pictures of myself for this! I really hate ugly things, and I think my header is ugly, so bear with me. I might have to revert the size of the blog to 1023px again, maybe I just need smaller pictures. :/

I'm waiting for my dearest Jennifer to come over so I can have some help taking these vanity pics and then we'll take some more pictures!

Hrm, I want another tattoo, but of what. People say Chinese characters are lame. I'm thinking of getting a flower (orchid? my mom's fave) on my hip to represent women.

Update!

Okay, so I've been kind of sick for almost a week now. I really despise being sick. My back aches, my head hurts, I'm congested, I feel like I'm not wearing clothes when I'm damn well wearing plenty to keep myself warm, etc. I HATE BEING SICK!

I was already sick the first week of summer, so why again?! I suppose I cannot hide from the massive amounts of germs that are spread around the house. My mom is sick, my dad is sick, my grandma was sick, both my sisters were sick and now of course... ME.

It's past the holidays but there's so many deals going on! I've been spending money like crazy. So it's time to save up again. Unfortunately I recently bought a pair of boots from gojane.com, check them out! After I saw xpinkx's blog, I was compelled to buy something similar. However, her Bebe thigh high boots cost $160, and I definitely was not about to put out that much money for a pair of boots. So, I opted for a $50 pair. I haven't gotten them yet, but I am excited! So maybe after a few more nice closet staples, I will save up my money.

I still have... a week of no school. So that is equivalent to one week of boredom! Have I mentioned I love shoes? -_____-' *SIGH...

Slipper heels

I went to the local Marshalls store with my friend Jennifer a few days ago. Lo and behold there were a ton of ugly shoes... i.e. SLIPPER HEELS. (REFER TO IMAGES BELOW!)

What is wrong with slipper heels you ask? EVERYTHING! They are ugly, disgusting, etc.

What IS a slipper heel? Open toe or not but is definitely open in the back, LIKE A SLIPPER. Supposedly more comfortable than a regular heel.

WHY NOT JUST OPT FOR A NICE PRETTY HEEL?! Why torture people's eyes with slipper heels. But you know what's even WORSE? Slipper heels on the "see lais" with dry, cracked feet.

QUESTION:
If you were to go on a date with a guy would you wear?
A: Flats
B: Slipper heels
C: A cute REAL pair of heels.

Answer is C, mothafuckas!

Flats are a no! Comfortable is no. If you really like the guy you'd definitely have your feet hurt for him. (Don't pick douchebags or your feet will hurt for nothing, kthx.)

Slipper heels are just fucking disgusting. (Look at explantion above as well.)

Was walking home from buying some false eyelashes and I had absolutely no idea what this girl was doing wearing some fuzzy feather TRANSLUCENT slipper heels. What? Could not find regular walking shoes to buy groceries? Gotta look like a hooker to buy groceries?!

FUZZY FEATHER TRANSLUCENT SLIPPER HEELS SHOULD BE LEFT IN THE BEDROOM! IN THE BACK OF THE CLOSET WITH THE REST OF YOUR LINGERIE!!!

Do you think you can wear these ugly shoes to the office? Or a party? Unless lingerie party and want to look like a hooker, no?

OR! FLIP FLOP WEDGES. Ugh, why not just regular flip flops, why ugly huge chunks of flip flops?

Wish the people that designed these damn ugly shoes would go play in traffic! Good thing they are not so popular, eh. Or maybe the whole female population will start wearing them just to spite me.

Fucking ugly.

How you like this flapping up and down on your heel?

The mother of ugly shoes.

Flip flop wedges.

Something nice :)

I was working with Diana one night and she was looking through the papers. She told me to read this "Dear Abby" section of the newspaper.

Dear Abby: A friend forwarded me an item she read on the Internet. I think these important life lessons might be something you'd like to pass along to your readers.
  1. Respect others, even if they don't respect you. Later in life they may remember that respect.
  2. Love with your whole heart. It may be broken, but you can't say that you never loved.
  3. Treat animals with kindness, and it will be repaid to you a hundred-fold.
  4. be honest with people you love. Honesty really is the best policy.
  5. Admit you mistakes; it shows you are human.
  6. Learn from your mistakes, but don't dwell on them. Negative thinking will only make you depressed - and that's not food for you or those around you.
  7. Tell your family often that you love them. You never know when it will be the last time you get to say it.
  8. Never tell others that their dreams are stupid of dumb. Each of us is entitled to our dreams. Who are we to say they won't come true?
  9. Realize that the only person you can change is yourself.
  10. Be thankful for everything you have. Knowing you are blessed isn't arrogant or cocky if you're truly thankful for your blessings.
- Jennifer from Colorado

Everything here is so true, so take heed. :)

Random updates

Yesterday, I went shopping with my lovely dearest olivejuice. :) I finally gave her her gift after five million eons, and I seriously hopes she likes it. :)

I've been spending money like crazy, so I asked baby if he thinks I'll ever fall into credit card debt. Unfortunately, his answer was yes, so I'm going to prove you guys wrong! MWAHAHA. I think I'll just have to lock up my credit card for a little bit and bring it back out when I'm ready. Which also reminds me that I should pay off my credit card bill sometime tomorrow.

So after our little adventure in Forever21, we went to Marshalls and tried on shoes. Can you believe they sell Payless Shoesource shoes there too!? And even more than Payless sells them for! I found the same white canvas peeptoe slingback wedge at Payless for about $7 and Marshalls had them for $25! Must be kidding me, lah!

Then, I found the UGLIEST SHOES on the planet. *googling ugliest shoes on the planet* Okay nevermind, I might have found some uglier ones. But besides the point, they were damn ugly. Honest, they must have been from the damn '70s. Metallic pink strappy with a STUMP for a heel. No wonder they were freaking $7... Jennifer said we look like some knock off Barbie dolls. (INSERT ROFL HERE) Oh man, I always have good times with her. :) 'Tis truly hard to find good friends nowadays that are nice and sweet and actually care for your well being.

We left soon after our time was up at Marshalls, I had to rush to work and she had to rush home to get her stuff for work.

I went back to Japantown today to buy some false lashes and then I went to the local variety shop for some more lashes, bought like 10 pairs today? I threw all my old ones away because they were getting nasty and dirty. There was glue and mascara all over it, can see I don't take care of it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to clean false lashes? *Soomping*

Today is the 7th of January, and my behind-the-wheel test is slowly creeping up on me... I barely had any practice but I will get on that soon! Hopefully I pass.

UGLY SHOES! UGH!

LOL

We are the KNOCKOFF BARBIEDAWLS.

Okay, next blog post. Angry rant on slipper heels. Stay tuned!

Happy New Years everyone!

Sorry, I was not able to post my last entry of 2009. However, 2009 was not a good year anywho.

I'm super glad it's a new year thus meaning I get to do a ton of new stuff. Still wondering what this year will have in store for me.

I've started my "Dear God" journal for my spiritual cleansing, but I must say, I don't feel like I used to feel when I went to church. I want to go back to church, just not the same one. I can't stand the fact that I'll be singing hymns and listening to the same message with hypocrites. But what can I do? It's not my church.

Oh yeah, I saw Melvin at the mall yesterday. >> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBgZ-gyIH44 He was walking by himself... maybe I should've said hi or something.

Don't know what else... but THIS IS MY FIRST POST OF 2010! <3
